Fuel Line Firewall Adapter

All 2WD Vanagons came stock from the factory with a plastic firewall adapter (see image slider) that connected fuel lines through the engine firewall. Fast forward thirty-plus years and these suckers have almost all become incredibly brittle and are notoriously responsible for numerous engine fires. In our opinion, this is a must-replace part.

Fits: 1983-91 2WD Watercooled Vanagon

This kit has all you need to replace that dangerous plastic adapter and includes a custom-made rubber grommet that fits snugly into the firewall and secures the bomber 5mm to 7mm hose adapter for connecting the plastic fuel hardline to the rubber fuel hose. This not only makes the connection easy to access for installation, but also keeps the hard plastic fuel line out of your hot engine bay.
