The original VW design, with its solid steel ring at the top, makes it nearly impossible for a mortal human to install by hand. We fixed this with a “clamshell” design that bolts together, making it easy to install with no special tools required.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe second problem we solved is a well-known weak point at the other end of the original VW link, where the sleeve slips over. The link fatigues and eventually breaks at this point. We incorporate the sleeve into the link itself, making ours over five times stronger in this area.
