The cap might fit better in another orientation. If that does not work, next step is to loosen hub cap clips one at a time and press on them toward the center of the wheel (for too-tight caps), or toward the outside (for too loose caps) and hold them there while tightening the clips. Repeat this to additional clips if the fit is still not right. If that is not enough adjustment for your caps, you can use a round file to slightly elongate the hole in the wheel in\/out as needed.
