Will this Ignition Wire Set fit my Watercooled Vanagon (1983-1991)?

Yes, this ignition wire set is specifically designed for Vanagon models from 1983 to 1991, including both 2WD and 4WD variations. It fits all engine sizes for those years (1.9L and 2.1L) and works with Passenger, Camper, and other specific Vanagon configurations, regardless of transmission type (automatic or manual).

My Vanagon originally had Bosch ignition wires. How does this set compare?

Our quality aftermarket ignition wire set is a direct replacement for the now-obsolete Bosch 09-272 & 09-180 part numbers. These new wires are built to meet or exceed original specifications, providing a fresh, reliable spark to get your Vanagon running smoothly again. Replacing old, worn ignition wires is crucial for optimal engine performance.

Is this a complete set for a tune-up, or do I need anything else?

This ignition wire set includes all the necessary wires for your Vanagon's ignition system. For a comprehensive tune-up, we highly recommend purchasing our 'Early Vanagon' or 'Late Vanagon' complete tune-up bundles. These bundles often include spark plugs, distributor caps, and other essential components to bring your engine back to tip-top shape.

How long can I expect these aftermarket ignition wires to last?

Customers have given this ignition wire set a 4.6 rating, indicating high satisfaction with its quality and performance. While exact lifespan varies with driving conditions, these wires are manufactured to high standards for durability and reliable performance, ensuring you get many miles of dependable service.
