Will this screen room fit my ARB awning and my VW Vanagon, Eurovan, or Westfalia?

Yes! This screen room is designed to perfectly fit ARB 2500 awnings and is compatible with most VW camper models, including Vanagon (1980-1991), Eurovan (1993-2003), Type 2 (Bay Window), and Westfalia pop-top campers. Just make sure your van is equipped with the ARB awning (usually 8.2 feet wide) and has enough mounting height clearance to attach the room securely.

How does the screen room attach to the ARB awning, and how long does installation take?

The screen room easily zips directly to your ARB awning's horizontal frame and secures with integrated straps and clips—no extra tools required. Most users can set it up solo in about 15-20 minutes right at the campsite. We recommend watching GoWesty’s video walkthrough for handy step-by-step installation tips.

What are the main features of this screen room for ARB awning, and what makes it great for van camping?

This screen room adds a full bug-free outdoor space to your van setup, doubling your living area. It features fine mesh panels for ventilation, heavy-duty zippered doors, and waterproof sidewalls for privacy and weather protection. When paired with your ARB awning, it’s a true all-weather outdoor enclosure, perfect for cooking, eating, or just hanging out without worrying about bugs or rain.

What are the packed dimensions and shipping details for this screen room?

The screen room packs down to a compact size (about 24" x 10" x 8") and weighs roughly 18 lbs. Shipping is available anywhere in the US, and in-store pickup is available at GoWesty for local customers. Orders placed before 12pm Pacific Time usually ship the same day, so you can get ready for your next adventure right away!

Any tips for using or caring for my screen room once it's installed on my VW camper?

Always make sure your ARB awning and undefined screen room are completely dry before packing to prevent mildew. Use the included ground sheet for extra comfort and protection underfoot. When camping in windy conditions, stake down the room securely at all corners. For cleaning, just wipe down with mild soap and water—avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the mesh and waterproof fabric. Happy camping!
