Will this Bumper Bundle (Deluxe) fit my specific Vanagon year, even if it's a 1990 or 1991 model?

Yes, absolutely! While originally fitted to 1980-87 Vanagons, this Deluxe Bumper Bundle is designed to be compatible with all Vanagon model years up through 1991. You can confidently upgrade your bumper, regardless of your specific year within that range.

Does the Bumper Bundle (Deluxe) include absolutely everything I need for the front and rear bumper replacement?

This Deluxe Bumper Bundle is designed to be a comprehensive solution. It includes both the front and rear painted black bumpers, plus all four plastic bumper end cap and hardware kits. This means you should have everything necessary for a complete replacement without needing to source additional parts for the bumpers themselves.

What makes this the 'Deluxe' Bumper Bundle, and will it look like the original factory bumpers on my Vanagon?

The 'Deluxe' designation refers to the original-style design of these bumpers, aiming to closely replicate the look and feel of the factory-fitted bumpers for Vanagons. The included painted black finish and the plastic end caps are intended to restore the authentic appearance, providing a high-quality, period-correct aesthetic for your vehicle.

Is installing this Bumper Bundle (Deluxe) something I can do myself, or do I need a professional mechanic?

Many Vanagon owners find this Bumper Bundle to be a manageable DIY project. The kit includes the bumpers and end cap hardware, which are the main components. If you're comfortable with basic automotive tasks and have the right tools, you can likely tackle this yourself. However, if you're unsure or prefer professional installation, we recommend consulting with a Vanagon specialist.
