Do I really need these Heater Box Clips for my Vanagon?

If you are performing any work inside your front or rear heater boxes, you may need these. Some heater box halves were glued together at the factory and lack clips, making these essential for proper reassembly.

How many clips are included and where are they used?

This pack includes 13 clips. Typically, if your vehicle requires them, you will need 11 pieces for the front heater box and 2 pieces for the rear.

Will these fit my specific Vanagon model and year?

Yes, these are designed to work with Vanagon models from 1980 through 1991, including 2WD and 4WD versions, as well as Westfalia Campers, Weekenders, Carat/Hard Top, Multivans, and Passenger models with either manual or automatic transmissions.

Are there other parts I should replace while I have my dash apart for the heater box?

Since you are already accessing the area, it is recommended to replace the Heater Valve and Cable, Heater Core Hoses, Dash Fan Resistor, and the Heater Box Foam Reseal Kit.
