Will this dash cover fit my specific Vanagon or 1984 Wolfsburg model?

Absolutely! This Seatz dash cover is custom-fit for all 1985-91 Vanagon models and the 1984 Wolfsburg with a padded dash. It's designed to fit perfectly on both 2WD and 4WD, including 7-Passenger, Carat, Multivan, Westfalia, and Weekender versions—whether you drive an automatic or manual transmission.

How easy is it to install the Vanagon dash cover, and will it stay securely in place?

Installation is simple and quick! The dash cover attaches using the included Velcro tabs, so there is no need for any cutting or modifications. The fit is snug and tailored specifically for your Vanagon or 1984 Wolfsburg, ensuring it won't slip or bunch up once installed. You can easily access the ashtray thanks to a built-in flap.

What materials are used, and will the dash cover fade or crack over time?

This Vanagon dash cover is made in the USA from rugged poly-carpet, which is highly resistant to UV rays—that means no fading, cracking, or deterioration, even with years of sun exposure. The durable material also helps protect your original dash from heat and new damage.

Does the dash cover come in colors that will match my interior, and are samples available?

The dash cover is available in three classic colors: black, brown, and gray, so there's a good chance one will match or complement your Vanagon's interior. While fabric samples aren't offered, the colors are chosen to blend well with the most common Vanagon interior trims. If you need help picking the best color, our support team is always happy to help!

Will this dash cover affect my dashboard's functionality or access to features?

Not at all! The dash cover is designed with a special flap for the ashtray and an integrated bump for the right-hand side, preserving all original dash features and contours. You’ll still have full access to all controls, vents, and storage areas, with added protection for your dash.
