Which years and models is this Engine Gasket Set (Waterboxer) compatible with?

This complete gasket set fits all 1983-1991 Vanagon Waterboxer models, including 2WD and 4WD versions, as well as Passenger, Westfalia Camper, Weekender, and Multivan configurations.

Who manufactures the gaskets in this set?

We only carry high-quality German brands for our engine gasket sets, specifically Victor Reinz or DPH (Dichtungspartner Hamburg).

Does the full engine gasket set include everything I need for a rebuild?

While this is a complete set, please note that the 025-129-717C Intake Manifold Gasket/Insulator Assembly is not included. Since old ones are almost certainly unusable, we recommend purchasing those à la cart to ensure your engine is fully sealed.

What do other customers say about the quality of this kit?

Customers have rated this set 5 stars, noting that it is a quality set that provides everything needed for the job, including some extra variants to ensure you have the right parts for your teardown.
