Will these longer wiper blades actually fit my 1980-1991 Vanagon and improve my visibility?

Absolutely! This kit upgrades your original 18-inch blades to a 21-inch driver's side blade and a 19-inch passenger's side blade. This provides significantly better coverage across your windshield, especially helpful for clearing rain and debris, leading to improved visibility on all 1980-1991 Vanagon models, regardless of drivetrain or trim. They are specifically designed to fit without issue.

My current Vanagon wipers aren't clearing the windshield well. Are these Hella blades a significant upgrade?

Yes, many Vanagon owners find their original wipers worn out and ineffective. This kit uses high-quality Hella wiper blades, known for their performance and durability. The increased length combined with the quality of Hella blades means you'll get much clearer visibility, especially in adverse weather conditions. It’s a common and effective upgrade.

Is this extended length wiper kit compatible with all Vanagon models from 1980 to 1991?

Yes, this extended length wiper kit is designed to be compatible with all Vanagon models produced between 1980 and 1991. This includes 2WD, 4WD, and all various trim levels, as well as both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. You can be confident it will fit your Vanagon.

How hard is it to install these longer wiper blades on my Vanagon?

Installation is straightforward. We have a helpful YouTube video demonstrating the process, which many customers find easy to follow. The kit is designed as a direct replacement for your original wiper arms and blades. You’ll have significantly improved clearing power in no time!
