I want to add storage to my Vanagon doors. Will this Map Pocket fit on the passenger side too, or just the driver's side?

This Map Pocket is designed specifically for the driver's side (left side) of your Vanagon. While you might be tempted to put one on the passenger side for extra storage, there's a key fitment issue: when the passenger door is closed, the glove box won't open fully because it will hit the Map Pocket. If you're set on having a passenger side Map Pocket, be prepared to open the passenger door each time you need to access your glove box.

What Vanagon years does this left-side Map Pocket actually fit? I have a 1988 Vanagon.

Great question! This Map Pocket is designed to fit most Vanagon models from 1980 all the way through 1991, including your 1988. It works with both 2WD and 4WD models, and regardless of whether you have an automatic or manual transmission.

My Vanagon is a Westfalia Camper. Will this driver's side Map Pocket work for my model? Also, what color does it come in?

Yes, this Map Pocket will fit your Westfalia Camper Vanagon! It's compatible with a wide range of Vanagon models, including Campmobiles and Weekenders. Currently, it's only available in black.

I saw a note about this not fitting certain Vanagon models like the Carat or MV. Can you clarify which models it *won't* fit?

Absolutely. While this Map Pocket is a great addition for most Vanagons, it is specifically *not* designed to fit the Carat or MV trim levels. If you have a different Vanagon model from 1980-1991, it should work perfectly.
