Will this front door handle set work on my Vanagon, and does it come with keys?

Yes, this front door handle set is designed to fit all Vanagon models from 1980 to 1991, including 2WD and 4WD. It fits both the left and right front doors and comes complete with two keys.

What's the difference between the Quality Aftermarket and Genuine Volkswagen (OEM) door handle options?

The Genuine Volkswagen (OEM) option is a direct factory replacement. The Quality Aftermarket option is a more budget-friendly alternative. Please note that the aftermarket cylinders cannot be re-keyed to match your original key, nor can you swap your old tumbler into them. You will receive new keys specifically for the aftermarket handles.

If I choose the aftermarket door handle, can I still use my original Vanagon key?

Unfortunately, no. The aftermarket door handle cylinders are not designed to work with the factory original key profile. This means you cannot re-key them to match your existing key, and you cannot transfer your old lock tumbler. You'll be using the new keys that come with the aftermarket handle set.

Does this door handle set include handles for both the driver and passenger side?

Yes, this product is a pair, meaning it includes one front door handle set for both the driver's side and the passenger's side. It also comes with two keys.
