Why do I need these clips for my Vanagon's front door seal?

Over time, the original clips holding your front door seal can become brittle, break, or get lost. These replacement clips are essential for ensuring your door seal stays firmly in place. A properly seated seal is crucial for keeping out weather, noise, and drafts, making your Vanagon more comfortable and efficient.

How many clips do I actually need for my van?

For each front door on your 1980-1991 Vanagon, you'll need three clips to properly secure the door seal. Since this pack comes with six clips, you'll have enough to replace all the necessary clips on both the driver and passenger side doors.

Are these clips difficult to install on the door seal?

These clips are designed to be a direct replacement for your original fittings. Installation is typically straightforward and doesn't require special tools. You should be able to easily pop off the old clips and snap these new ones into place to hold your door seal securely.

My original door seal clips are damaged, will these work as a direct replacement?

Absolutely! These clips are specifically made as replacements for the original clips used on the front door seals of 1980-1991 Vanagon models. If your old clips are broken, cracked, or missing, these new ones will provide a secure fit to keep your door seal functioning as it should.
