Where can I find the 251-407-629 wheel bearing seal for my Syncro Vanagon?

These 251-407-629 seals were once obsolete, making it tough for Syncro owners to keep their vans on the road. We're thrilled to have them back in stock! They're a critical part for front wheel bearing maintenance, so we understand the relief of finding a reliable source.

How many of these wheel bearing seals do I need for my Vanagon?

You'll need four of these seals in total for your 4WD Vanagon – two for each front wheel. Make sure you're replacing these when servicing your front wheel bearings. We sell them individually, so you can order exactly what you need.

Will this wheel bearing seal fit my 1989 Vanagon?

Yes, this front wheel bearing seal fits 4WD Vanagons from 1986 to 1991. This includes the 7-Passenger, Campmobile, Passenger, Westfalia Camper, Westfalia Weekender MV, and Wolfsburg Weekender models with manual transmissions. If you have a different model year or drive configuration, please double-check before ordering.
