Will the Fuel Pump Rubber Mount fit my VW Bus or Vanagon, and how many do I need?

Yes, this Fuel Pump Rubber Mount is designed specifically for all 1968–91 VW Bus and Vanagon models, covering both 2WD and 4WD, as well as all trim levels and transmissions. Each vehicle requires two mounts, and they're sold individually, so be sure to order the correct quantity for a complete replacement.

Why should I replace my fuel pump rubber mounts, and what problems can worn mounts cause?

Over time, the original fuel pump rubber mounts tend to crack, degrade, or lose their elasticity, which can let the fuel pump vibrate against the chassis. This can lead to increased noise in your cabin and even premature wear of the pump itself. Replacing with these quality aftermarket mounts restores smooth, quiet operation and protects your fuel system from unnecessary vibration.

Is this aftermarket mount a quality alternative to the original part, and what do other customers say?

Absolutely! This Quality Aftermarket Fuel Pump Rubber Mount is a great alternative to hard-to-find OEM mounts. Customers consistently rate it 4.8 out of 5 for its easy installation and excellent vibration reduction. Positive feedback highlights the snug fit and solid construction, making it a trusted replacement for your vintage VW.

How easy is it to install the Fuel Pump Rubber Mount, and do I need any special tools?

Installation is straightforward and easily tackled at home—many customers report it's an easy swap. Basic hand tools are all you need. Just make sure to replace both mounts at once for the best vibration isolation. If you're replacing cracked, undefined or missing mounts, you'll notice an immediate improvement in noise reduction after installation.

Can I use just one rubber mount, or do I need to replace both at the same time?

For optimal performance and to truly isolate fuel pump vibration, it's important to use two Fuel Pump Rubber Mounts—one for each mounting point. Replacing only one may lead to uneven support and continued noise or wear. Always replace both together for the best results and to preserve your VW Bus or Vanagon's ride quality.
