Will this Headlight Adjuster fit my Vanagon?

This adjuster is specifically made for upper high beam lenses on late-model Vanagons, which means it fits 1986-1991 models with rectangular headlights. If your Vanagon has the round headlights or is an earlier model, this part won’t fit. Double-check your headlights before ordering to make sure you get the right adjuster for your setup.

How many adjusters do I need to buy for my Vanagon?

Each high beam lens uses two adjusters. If you’re replacing just one adjuster on one headlight, you only need to order the quantity you need. But for a full replacement on both high beams (each side), you’ll need four adjusters in total. This adjuster also works with GoWesty’s H4 Headlight Kit for late-model Vanagons.

Is this adjuster easy to install, and is it good quality?

Yes! This adjuster is an aftermarket replacement that’s built for a snug fit and reliable performance—the design matches the originals in function. Most Vanagon owners find installation straightforward with basic tools and a little patience. If you run into any issues, GoWesty has a solid return policy and excellent customer support so you can buy with confidence. Our customers report these adjusters hold up well on the road, making them a great value for classic Vanagons.
