Will this gasket fit my VW Bus or Vanagon hook-up box?

This genuine GoWesty gasket (part number 253-070-134A) is designed to fit City Water, Tank Filler, and 110V Electrical hook-up boxes on VW Buses (1974-1979) and Vanagons (1980-1991), including Westfalia Campers, Weekenders, and more. Please note it does not fit pre-1980 city water hook-up boxes.

How easy is it to install this gasket on my camper?

Installation is a breeze! Simply remove the old gasket, clean the surface, and fit the new GoWesty gasket in place of the original. It’s designed for a perfect fit, ensuring a secure seal and leak prevention with minimal effort.

Does this gasket really help prevent leaks around my hook-up box?

Absolutely. This gasket is made specifically to seal your hook-up boxes and prevent water from getting into your camper. Customers report excellent results with leak protection and improved performance compared to old, worn-out gaskets.

Is this gasket durable enough for long-term use and all weather conditions?

Yes, GoWesty’s gasket is built with high-quality materials for long-lasting durability. It’s designed to withstand the elements and frequent use, providing a dependable seal for years on the road.

How many gaskets do I need and how are they sold?

Each gasket is sold individually, so you’ll need one for each hook-up box you plan to replace. Simply order as many as you need depending on your set-up—most campers have between one and three hook-up boxes.
