Will this Ignition Control Module fit my 1984 Vanagon with the 1.9L engine and factory electronic ignition?

Yes, this ignition control module is designed to replace part number 211-905-351D and is compatible with 1983-1985 Vanagons equipped with the 1.9L engine that have factory electronic ignition. It will also fit 1974-1979 Bus models with the same ignition system.

What's the real difference between the Budget and Bosch Ignition Control Module options?

The Budget option is a functional equivalent to the original, featuring a brand-new heat sink for better thermal management. The Bosch option is theoretically of higher quality but does not include a heat sink, which you may need to source separately depending on your installation needs.

My Bus has the original electronic ignition. Will this module work as a replacement for my 211-905-351D part number?

Absolutely. This ignition control module directly replaces the 211-905-351D part number and is specifically made for all Bus and Vanagon models that came equipped with factory electronic ignition. It's a reliable choice for restoring your vehicle's ignition system.

I'm looking for a cost-effective solution. Is the Budget Ignition Control Module a good choice for my Vanagon?

The Budget Ignition Control Module offers a more affordable alternative while maintaining electronic functionality. Its key advantage is the inclusion of a brand-new heat sink, which is crucial for the longevity and performance of the module, especially in the engine bay environment of your Vanagon.
