Will this key blank fit my specific Vanagon model?

This key blank is designed to be compatible with the original OEM lock cylinders for most Vanagon models (T3). While it a direct replacement blank, we always recommend double-checking the part number on your original key or lock cylinder to ensure a perfect match. If you're unsure, our GoWesty support team can help you confirm compatibility before you purchase.

What's the difference between this GoWesty key blank and a genuine VW key?

This key blank is manufactured to the same specifications as the original Volkswagen keys for your Vanagon. It's an OEM-quality blank, meaning it’s made to fit and function just like the original. While it's not stamped with the VW logo, it offers the same reliable performance and fit for your vehicle's locks. The key difference is that this blank is often more readily available and cost-effective.
