Will this Pop-Top Flat Seal fit my specific Bus or Vanagon model and year?

This Pop-Top Flat Seal is designed for Volkswagen Bays (T2) and Vanagons (T3/Type 25) with the pop-top roof. For the best fit, check your vehicle's year and model. This seal fits most Buses and Vanagons with the factory-style Westfalia pop-top roof. If you have a different pop-top conversion or a model outside these specifications, please verify fitment before ordering.

What’s included with the Pop-Top Flat Seal, and will I need any extra materials for installation?

The package includes one continuous length of premium flat seal, cut to fit your van's pop-top perimeter. Adhesive is not included, so you will need to purchase a quality weatherstrip adhesive separately to complete your installation.

Is this pop-top seal suitable for both 2WD and 4WD Vanagons, as well as manual and automatic models?

Yes, this Pop-Top Flat Seal is compatible with both 2WD and 4WD Vanagons, and fits regardless of transmission type. The key compatibility factor is whether your vehicle has the correct Westfalia-style pop-top roof.

How difficult is it to install the Pop-Top Flat Seal if I'm a DIYer, and where can I find installation help?

Many DIY enthusiasts find the installation straightforward with basic tools and patience. You'll need to remove the old seal, clean the mounting surface, and apply the new seal using adhesive (not included). GoWesty offers detailed installation tips and step-by-step photos on their website to help guide you through the process.

What are the exact dimensions of the Pop-Top Flat Seal, and how can I tell if it matches my existing seal?

The Pop-Top Flat Seal is supplied in a length sufficient to fit the full perimeter of a stock Westfalia pop-top. If you wish to compare, you can measure your current seal to ensure a close match. The seal is designed to replace factory-installed seals, so if your existing setup is original or similar in design, this product should fit perfectly.
