Why should I replace these washers when doing my radius rod bushings on a Vanagon?

When you're replacing your radius rod bushings, it's a common and critical time to inspect your existing washers. Over time, the original washers can become severely wallowed out or rusted to the point where they are no longer safe or effective. Replacing them with new ones ensures the job is done correctly and safely the first time, providing proper support for your new bushings.

How many Radius Rod Washers do I need per Vanagon?

You will need four (4) Radius Rod Washers per Vanagon to complete the job. They are sold individually, so be sure to add four to your cart to ensure you have enough for your replacement.

What year Vanagon models are compatible with these Radius Rod Washers?

These Radius Rod Washers are designed to fit all 1980 through 1991 Vanagon models, including Syncro versions. They are a direct replacement part for those years.

Are these GoWesty Radius Rod Washers sold as a set or individually?

The GoWesty Radius Rod Washers are sold individually. Since four are required per vehicle, please make sure to purchase the correct quantity to ensure a complete and safe installation when changing out your radius rod bushings.
