Will these heavy-duty shock washers fit my Vanagon or Eurovan?

Yes! These heavy-duty aftermarket washers are designed specifically to fit the upper position on 1980-91 Vanagon front shocks (both 2WD and 4WD) and the lower position on 1993-03 Eurovan rear shocks. They replace original VW part numbers 251-411-043 and 171-512-337 and are compatible with various trims like Westfalia, Campmobile, and Multivan, regardless of transmission type.

Why are these aftermarket washers a better deal than OEM parts?

You get serious bang for your buck with these heavy-duty washers! They offer a significantly more cost-effective alternative to expensive original German parts. You're getting comparable durability and performance for a fraction of the price, making it a smart choice for maintaining your Vanagon or Eurovan without breaking the bank.

Where exactly do these heavy-duty washers go on the shock assembly?

These washers are crucial components for shock mounting. On Vanagons (1980-91), they are installed at the upper end of the front shock absorber. For Eurovans (1993-03), they are used at the lower end of the rear shock absorber. They ensure a secure fit and proper load distribution for your suspension.

Are these replacement shock washers as durable as the original ones?

Absolutely. These are heavy-duty aftermarket washers engineered for durability. While they offer a substantial cost saving compared to OEM parts, they are built to meet or exceed the performance and longevity requirements for your Vanagon or Eurovan suspension. You can rely on them for long-lasting service.
