Will this Syncro Rear Hatch Emblem fit my 1989 Vanagon 4WD?

Yes! This emblem is designed to fit 1987-1991 Vanagon models equipped with 4WD, including the 1989 model. It’s a perfect replacement for your original Syncro badge.

How easy is it to install the emblem on the rear hatch?

Installation is straightforward — the emblem comes with a strong adhesive backing. Just clean the surface, peel off the backing, and stick it in place. No special tools are needed, so you can have your Vanagon looking sharp again in minutes.

Is the size of this emblem exactly the same as the original Syncro badge?

The emblem measures about 5.25" long and matches most original badges perfectly. However, some Syncro models originally had a slightly larger emblem, so there may be a small size difference on those specific versions.

Will the adhesive hold up during outdoor adventures and off-road use?

Absolutely. The adhesive backing is strong and durable, designed to withstand the elements and keep your emblem securely attached even during rugged off-road activities and various weather conditions.

Does this emblem work if my Vanagon has a manual transmission?

Yes, it does! This emblem is compatible with all 4WD Vanagons from 1987-1991 regardless of transmission type, including those with manual transmissions.
