Will this Table Top Mounting Plate fit my 1983 Westfalia camper?

For 1983 Westfalia models, this mounting plate fits only if you have or switch to the late-style table leg shown in the product images. If your table leg has a round tube attachment (common in early models), this plate won't be compatible.

Is the installation of this mounting plate complicated? Do I need special tools?

Installation is straightforward and comes with all the mounting hardware you need. Basic tools like a screwdriver and wrench will do. Many customers find it a quick upgrade even if you’re updating older tables to the newer style.

Does this plate work with both manual and automatic transmission Vanagons?

Yes, this mounting plate is designed to fit all 1985-1991 Vanagon models regardless of whether you have a manual or automatic transmission, so no worries there.

Can I use this mounting plate if my Vanagon isn't a Westfalia camper?

This plate is specifically made for Westfalia models from 1985-1991, and some 1980-1984 models with the correct late-style table leg. If your Vanagon doesn't have those specs, this plate may not fit properly.

What size is the thread on the knob for this table mounting plate?

The mounting plate features a 10mm thread for the knob, which matches the hardware included. This ensures a secure fit when attaching your table top.
