Will this Yakima Roof Rack Bundle fit my 1968-79 VW Bus with a hard-top?

Yes! This bundle is specially designed to fit 1968-79 VW Type 2 (Bay Window) Buses equipped with a hard-top, without the need for rain gutters. It's a direct fit to your factory roof, offering secure mounting without drilling.

Can I choose between different roof rack bar setups?

Absolutely. The bundle is offered in 1, 2, or 3-bar options. Choose the number of bars based on how much gear you want to carry. Three bars provide extra support for larger loads like kayaks or multiple boards, while one or two bars work great for everyday cargo or a single surfboard.

Is the installation process difficult, and are all the parts included?

Installation is straightforward and can usually be completed in about an hour using basic tools. Every bundle includes all necessary mounting hardware and Yakima crossbars, along with step-by-step instructions. No drilling or permanent modifications are required.

Will this rack accommodate surfboards, kayaks, or other outdoor gear?

Yes, this rack is compatible with a wide range of Yakima accessories for safely hauling surfboards, kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and more. The adjustable bar spacing lets you customize the fit for different gear, ensuring secure transport for your adventures.

What about shipping—how will my roof rack arrive, and what should I expect?

Roof rack bundles are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit and are shipped directly to your door. You'll receive everything needed for installation in one shipment, and GoWesty's customer service is here to help if you have any questions when your rack arrives.
