The geometry of the original Volkswagen/Westfalia battery hold-down bracket was not quite right. It had one simple job to do... and didn't do it well.
We have engineered our bracket to securely retain a standard Group 41 (or equivalent) battery within the Vanagon under-seat battery compartment. It features improved geometry for easier installation and is crafted from durable and corrosion-proof stainless steel. Simple, effective, and affordable.
Fits: All 1980-91 Vanagon models with original Westfalia swivel seats.
