Here is a replacement locking gas strut for your Winnie Camper pop-top. You can replace just one if you like, or it might just be time to do both. We usually replace these in pairs. 

Fits: 1995-03 Winnebago Camper

Installation note: If you want to remove the locking function from this strut, you can simply unscrew one end and slip the locking sleeve off. Voila!

Operation note: Typically, you'll need to push the top up pretty hard in order to utilize the locking feature on the strut. The bottom of the orange plastic collar must clear the end of the strut cylinder, and then you slide it over to one side into the locked position, see the video tab for a visual description of this.
