Six-inch long rigid seat belt receiver extension. Not vehicle-specific and fits various applications. Sold individually. One kit per seat belt receiver.

Where do I install this again? This extension will work in pretty much any location where you feel your seat belt receiver is not long enough. We love it for any Weekender or 7-passenger Carat/Multivan jumpseats that haven't already upgraded to our nicer - but pricier - 15" flexible receivers. It is perfect for relocating Vanagon jumpseat receivers when installing the GoWesty Vanagon Center Console in a Weekender or 7-passenger Carat/Multivan model. Another good application is on all camper front seats with swivel—the super short receivers are quite a long reach! Best of all, the included hardware is designed so that the receiver can swivel on the end of the extension, allowing easy and comfortable fastening of your seat belt at otherwise tricky angles.

Because of the relatively simple install process, we do not include physical instructions with this kit.

Use the original bolt to fasten the extension in the fixed position of your choice, tighten bolt to 45 ft-lbs. Attach the receiver to the other end with the hardware provided. The nylon washer goes between the new extension and receiver. Pass the bolt through the extension into the nylon washer, then the receiver, and into the nut. Tighten the nut and bolt as tight as possible so that the receiver can still swivel on the extension, but the extension itself doesn't swivel on its mounting bolt. Make sense? Good!
