Will this sun visor clip fit my Vanagon, and what years/models is it compatible with?

Yes, this clip is designed specifically for 1980–1991 Vanagon models, regardless of trim or drivetrain. That means it works with all factory Vanagons, whether you have a 2WD or 4WD, automatic or manual transmission, and any package (like Westfalia or Wolfsburg). If your Vanagon is from within those years, you're good to go!

How tricky is the installation for this sun visor clip?

Installation is straightforward but take note—it’s a snug fit by design. This helps ensure your sun visor stays put without rattling. You may need to apply a bit of extra pressure to snap the clip into place, but most owners can do it with regular hand tools. We recommend lining up the clip carefully and pressing firmly. Once installed, you'll have a secure hold just like the original.

Does this aftermarket sun visor clip match the OEM quality?

Absolutely. This quality aftermarket part is made to the same specs as the original factory clip, so it fits and performs just like the OEM one did when your Vanagon was new. Plus, with excellent ratings from other Vanagon owners, you can expect reliability and a proper fit for your sun visor replacement.
