Will this Air Conditioning V-Belt fit my 1986 Vanagon?

Yes, this Air Conditioning V-Belt is specifically designed to fit all 1983-1991 Vanagon models, including your 1986. It's compatible with both 2WD and 4WD versions, as well as automatic and manual transmissions. It will also fit earlier Type 2 Buses from 1972-1982.

What does 'Brand may vary' mean for this Vanagon A/C belt?

The 'Brand may vary' note means that while the belt will be the correct size (13 x 1150) and fit your Vanagon's Air Conditioning system, the specific aftermarket manufacturer might change depending on availability. GoWesty ensures you receive a quality, reliable belt regardless of the brand.

Is it better to replace just the A/C belt or all the belts on my Vanagon?

Since Vanagons typically only have three belts, including the Air Conditioning belt, it's often a good idea to replace them all at once. This proactive approach can save you potential headaches down the road. GoWesty also offers a V-Belt Bundle (A/C only) which provides cost savings when purchasing multiple belts.

I need to replace my Vanagon's Air Conditioning belt. Is this the correct part number?

The part number for this Air Conditioning V-Belt is 13X1150, and it's the correct size (13 x 1150 millimeters) for your Vanagon. This specific belt is compatible with all 1983-1991 Vanagon models to ensure your A/C system runs effectively.
