How do I determine the right amount of this skylight seal to order for my Vanagon?

To figure out how much bulk seal material you need, simply measure the perimeter of your Vanagon's skylight opening. Order that exact number of feet. For example, if your skylight measures 6 feet around, you'll want to order 6 feet of this seal.

Will this 'Bulb on Side' skylight seal fit all Vanagon models, including my 1988?

Yes, this seal is designed to fit all Vanagon skylights, specifically for models from 1980 to 1991. Its dimensions are made to work with the standard U-channel on these skylights.

What are the specific dimensions of this bulk seal, and what size channel does it fit?

The bulb size on this seal is 0.433 inches, and it's designed to fit material that is 0.158 inches thick. The U-channel part of the seal is also 0.433 inches tall, ensuring a snug fit for your Vanagon skylight.

Is this bulk seal material the same as what's used in the pre-cut GVW-255-765 kit?

Yes, this is the same high-quality aftermarket seal material that GoWesty uses for their pre-cut GVW-255-765 skylight seal kits. Buying it in bulk allows you to get the exact length you need.
