Yes, this guide track is designed to fit all Volkswagen Vanagon models from 1980–1991, including Multivan, Westfalia Camper, Westfalia Weekender MV, and Wolfsburg Weekender. It works with both 2WD and 4WD models, as well as automatic and manual transmissions. If your Vanagon falls within these years, you can be confident it will fit your skylight perfectly.

Is the installation of this skylight guide track complicated?

Installing this stainless steel guide track is straightforward and well documented. GoWesty provides clear video instructions to walk you through each step, making it much easier even for first-time DIYers. For best operation, it's recommended to install it together with a replacement flexarm. With basic tools and a little patience, you can restore smooth skylight function yourself.

Why should I upgrade to this stainless steel guide track for my Vanagon skylight?

Upgrading to this precision-engineered stainless steel track ensures long-lasting, smooth operation of your skylight, supporting the flexarm’s plastic wheels and preventing sticking or jamming. It’s an ideal fix if your skylight feels stiff, noisy, or is not sliding as easily as it should.
