Will this rubber floor mat set fit my 1987 Vanagon, and does it work with both manual and automatic models?

Yes! This two-piece Rubbertite front floor mat set is designed specifically for all 1980-1991 Vanagons, covering both the driver and passenger footwell areas. It fits both manual and automatic transmission models and matches all standard front cabin layouts for these years.

How durable are these mats, and are they a good choice for messy families or pet owners?

Absolutely. The Lloyd Mats Rubbertite material used in this GoWesty rubber floor mat set is incredibly tough and designed for heavy use. It stands up to mud, spills, pet hair, sand, and anything else your adventures (or kids!) might throw at it. The mats have deep, non-slip grooves that trap messes, making them ideal for pets and active families.

Are these mats easy to install, and will they move around during use?

Installation is a breeze—just place each mat in the footwell, and you’re done. The mats are precisely cut for a snug fit in 1980-1991 Vanagon cabs, and the grippy rubber backing helps keep them securely in place, so you won’t have to worry about sliding or bunching under your feet.

Can I get these mats in different colors to match my Vanagon interior?

GoWesty's Rubbertite rubber floor mat set comes in several popular colors, allowing you to customize the look of your Vanagon's cabin. Check the product page for the current color options and choose the one that best suits your interior style.

How do I clean these mats, and does this set cover the aisle-way area too?

Cleaning is simple! Just remove the mats and hose them off, or wipe down with mild soap and water—the rubber material won't absorb stains or odors. Note: This two-piece set covers only the front cab (driver and passenger footwells) for Vanagons and does not include an aisle-way (walk-through) mat. If you need full coverage, check GoWesty for matching aisle-way pieces sold separately.
