This complete wiring and circuit protection kit sets you up to install a Renogy DC-DC Charger (RBC2125DS-21W-G2) under or behind your driver’s seat. We include properly fused 8 AWG charge cables to feed your auxiliary battery with confidence. Pair it with our 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, perfectly sized to slide under the driver’s seat or tuck neatly beneath the Westfalia sink, and you have a compact power station hiding in plain sight.

Inside the box you will find the hardware and clear instructions you need to wire it up the right way. Once installed, your aux battery can confidently run your radio, 12V outlets, interior lights, sink pump, and whatever other creature comforts you bring along for the ride. Camp far. Stay longer. Flip the switch without worrying that your van won’t start when you are ready to roll out!

The RBC2125DS-21W-G2 is purpose-built for direct current input from your alternator and solar panels. It does not plug into a standard 110V household outlet. If shore power charging is part of your plan, we recommend adding a NOCO Genius GenPro 10x2 Battery Charger to round out your system.

IMPORTANT 30A CHARGING LIMIT NOTICE: It is imperative that the DC-DC charge controller be programmed to a maximum charging output of 30A. Failure to do so can damage your Vanagon electrical system and the GoWesty auxiliary battery system, and may create a hazardous operating condition. We selected this 50A DC-DC charge controller specifically because of the advanced features it offers that lower-amperage units do not provide. However, the Vanagon electrical system and the GoWesty auxiliary battery system designed to work with it, are intended for a maximum charging rate of 30A. While our 100Ah battery is capable of accepting charging rates up to 100A, the factory Vanagon charging system is not designed to safely support charging above 30A. A properly configured 30A charging rate remains fast, efficient, and safe for long-term use. If you wish to charge at rates higher than 30A, we also offer the battery and charge controller separately for use in custom-designed charging systems.
