If your front dash blower is not running in your 1980-1991 Vanagon, this resistor may likely be the cause. This aftermarket replacement resistor is for the blower motor to get that air movin'. Installation requires dash removal, so you might as well tend to the blower motor itself and the front heater core. Do it once, and do it right!
Make sure to bench test your resistor and motor before reassembling your dash!
Install note:Β If you are taking your dash apart, there are many other items you'll want to replace at the same time, namely theΒ Front Heater Core, theΒ Heater ValveΒ andΒ Cable, theΒ Heater Core Hoses, and theΒ Heater Box Foam Reseal Kit.Β Also, don't forget newΒ Heater Box Clips!
