Finally, a quality replacement for your crusty old factory part! Forget scavenging donor vans and grab one of our Fridge Flue Vent Sealing Gaskets.
Crafted from durable and UV-resistant Viton, this part will likely outlast your vehicle. It is designed to work equally well as a direct replacement for the factory part or as a block-off seal to keep the weather out. Sold individually.
No fridge? If you are no longer running a fridge and need to seal out the elements, don't forget to grab a block off plate for your Vanagon or Eurovan.
Install notes: If you are using this part as a replacement gasket for your fridge vent flue, take your original seal and trace/cut the vent profile, then point the slotted edge toward the 9 o'clock position. If you are using it in conjunction with our block off plate, leave the sealing surface uncut and position the slotted edge pointed downward at the 6 o'clock position.
What is Viton you ask?
Well, Viton is a fluorocarbon-based fluoroelastomer. Cool! It is considered one of the best synthetic rubber materials available. It is known for its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and fluid resistance, making it the ideal material for harsh environments. It is often used in the aerospace and automotive industries where exposure to high temperatures, fuel, oil, and other chemicals is common. It is tough and durable, with great abrasion and tear resistance. It is famous for its fluid resistance and ability to withstand exposure to aggressive fuels, oils, acids, gases, hydrocarbons, and other chemicals. Viton also has a strong resistance to UV exposure, oxidation, ozone, weathering, and molds. So yeah, it is really good stuff!
