Usage & Maintenance Tips for Long-Term Performance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your GoWesty Gasoline Furnace, proper operation is key:

  • Level 1 is typically sufficient to keep your van warm and cozy.

  • However, continuous use at low settings can cause carbon buildup in the combustion chamber, which may lead to premature failure.

Recommended Maintenance:

Run the furnace at level 9 (full power) for 30 minutes periodicallyโ€”this burns off carbon deposits and keeps the internal components clean. This is standard practice with all gasoline furnaces and helps ensure lasting reliability. At altitudes above 6000', the furnace should be run at higher settings (L7-L9) to ensure proper function and avoid carbon buildup.

A simple routine = a dependable heater for years to come.

FOUR-YEAR WARRANTY: We're proud to offer these furnaces with a four-year pro-rated replacement warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials under normal use.
