Will this Rear Hatch Emblem fit my 1990 Vanagon Westfalia?

Yes, this emblem is designed specifically for 1988-1991 Vanagon models, including Westfalia trims. Just make sure your rear hatch has three mounting holes, as it's not compatible with two-hole hatches.

The rubber seal included with the emblem doesn't seem to fit well on my Vanagon. What should I do?

It's common for the included rubber seal not to fit perfectly. Many customers reuse their original rubber seal and mounting grommets for the best fit and a clean look. We recommend doing the same for easier installation.

How difficult is it to install the Rear Hatch Emblem myself?

Installation is straightforward if your hatch has the required three mounting holes. You'll need to align the emblem using your existing grommets and seal or the included ones. No special tools are necessary, and many customers complete installation in under 30 minutes.

Is this emblem made from durable materials that can withstand outdoor conditions?

Absolutely. This emblem is a genuine Volkswagen part made from chrome plastic with a durable, shiny finish. Customers often praise its lasting appearance and resistance to weather elements, so it should hold up well over time.

Will this emblem fit all Vanagon drivetrains and trims like Carat or 4WD models?

Yes, the emblem is compatible across various trims and drivetrains—including 2WD, 4WD, Carat, Westfalia, and Multivan models—provided they are from 1988-1991 and have the three-hole mounting pattern on their rear hatch.
