Made exclusively for GoWesty, this easy-to-use steel extension locks your back hatch up to let air through. It fits in-between the current lock assembly. It easily installs only when it is needed. They cannot be removed from the outside keeping the vehicle secure. Constructed from solid steel. These extensions will work on your Vanagon OR Late Bay!
Fits: 1972-79 Type II Bus & All Vanagon Models
Not to be used while driving.
Intended for use with occupants in vehicle. It is possible for a malcontent to break into your vehicle if you are using this product with the vehicle unattended. However, it would be extremely difficult. In other words, if someone was intent on getting into your vehicle, they would probably break a window first. Keep valuables safely stored out of sight!
