This front mounted hitch receiver is the perfect addition to your GoWesty plate steel bumpers! A front mounted hitch is useful for all sorts of things. Powdercoated in our durable black wrinkle finish. Drilling required (see installation tab).

Easy to install. Instructions included.

Tools needed for installation: Drill, 1/2" drill bit, 3/8" drill bit, hammer, center punch, 13mm wrench and socket, 19mm wrench and socket, tape measure.

The hitch's base plate may appear slightly warped due to natural irregularities that occur in the welding process. It will straighten itself out and lie flush once bolted onto the bumper.

NOTE: The GoWesty trailer hitches we offer for Bus and Vanagon are the same size as a standard Class III hitch (2"), and accept any accessory or towing insert that fits into a standard Class III hitch. We manufacture them this way to increase versatility. However, this hitch is NOT capable of standard Class III loading in terms of tongue weight or towing capacity. Do not load this hitch at the tow ball more than 100 lbs., and factor 10 lbs. less per inch outward from where the tow ball would normally sit for using the hitch to carry bikes or a basket, for example.
