This heavy-duty aftermarket washer has a variety of applications for both Vanagon and Eurovan. The best part? It's about $10 less expensive than the OE German version!
Replaces Volkswagen part numbers: 251-413-431, 251-411-043, and 171-512-337.
Fits: 1980-91 Vanagon sway-bar end link (upper and lower), front shock (upper, 2WD & 4WD), and 1993-03 Eurovan rear shock (lower).
Off-Road Note: For off-road driving where the likelihood of the wheel leaving the ground repeatedly could happen, we recommend installing two washers per side on top of the shocks. There is plenty of threads to install two stacked washers and it will double the strength.
Want to save $3 per washer? You can use a standard flat washer in place of this heavy-duty unit, but of course we highly recommend you stick with the HD version, especially if you spend time off-road.
