When should I consider replacing my CV boot flange on my Vanagon?

You should only replace your CV boot flange if the existing one is bent or shows signs of heavy corrosion. These flanges are built to be very durable and can often be reused multiple times, especially if you're just replacing a torn boot.

How many CV boot flanges do I need for my Vanagon?

You'll need one CV boot flange per CV joint. Since this product is sold individually, you can purchase the exact number required for your vehicle. Most Vanagons will need more than one, depending on how many axles you are servicing.

Can I reuse my old flange if my CV boot is torn?

Absolutely! GoWesty actually recommends reusing your existing CV boot flange if your 930 boot is torn. This is a great way to save money, as these flanges are designed for long-term durability and can be used again and again. Only replace it if it’s damaged.

Will this CV boot flange fit my 1980-1991 Vanagon?

Yes, this heavy-duty CV boot flange is specifically designed to work with 1980-1991 Vanagon models that use 930 axles. It's a direct replacement part for your existing flange.
