Will this Oil Change Refill Kit work on my 1985 Watercooled Vanagon Westfalia Camper?

Yes, this kit fits all Watercooled Vanagon models from 1983 to 1991, including your 1985 Westfalia Camper. It's designed to cover both 2WD and 4WD trims, ensuring compatibility with your vehicle.

What's included in this oil change kit, and does it have everything I need?

The kit comes with 5 quarts of high-quality 10W/60 synthetic engine oil, one German-made Mann or Mahle oil filter, and one aluminum crush washer. These parts cover everything essential for a complete and straightforward oil change.

Why should I choose this kit instead of buying oil and filters separately?

This kit simplifies your oil change by providing all necessary parts in one package, ensuring you have the correct oil grade and the right filter for your Vanagon. It saves you time, avoids compatibility guesswork, and customers report improved oil pressure and engine smoothness after using it.

Is the synthetic 10W/60 oil in this kit suitable for all driving conditions?

Yes, the 10W/60 synthetic oil is specifically chosen for Watercooled Vanagons because it offers excellent protection across various temperatures and driving conditions, helping maintain optimal engine performance and longevity.

Can I reuse the crush washer, or do I need a new one each oil change?

It's best to use a new aluminum crush washer each time you change your oil. This kit includes one new crush washer to ensure a proper seal and prevent leaks, contributing to a smooth and safe oil change process.
