Which side Vent Wing glass do I need for my Vanagon, driver or passenger?

You can select either the driver side (left hand) or passenger side (right hand) Vent Wing glass from the dropdown menu above. Please ensure you choose the correct side for your vehicle.

Does this Vent Wing glass come with new mounting hardware or do I need to reuse my old parts?

This replacement Vent Wing glass requires you to reuse all the inserts, washers, and other hardware from your original window. You'll need a hammer and punch to carefully remove these from your old glass, and we strongly recommend wearing eye protection as there's a risk of the glass shattering during removal.

I saw a review mentioning fitment issues with the left side Vent Wing. Is this a common problem?

While we've seen that feedback, our stock of Vent Wing glass for all 1980-1991 Vanagon models, including the left side, has generally been fitting well. If you encounter any issues, please contact us with photos, and we'll do our best to help troubleshoot.

What Vanagon models are compatible with this replacement Vent Wing glass?

This Vent Wing glass is designed to fit all 1980 through 1991 Vanagon models. The quality aftermarket glass is a direct replacement for your original equipment.
