This aftermarket replacement is a low-cost, low-profile, high-visibility, modern alternative to the expensive and outdated original German part.

The original part is actually a repurposed 1970's VW Rabbit side marker, and is a terribly antiquated design. Our replacement is a complete assembly; there is no need to buy the bulb, bulb socket, and wiring harness separately.

This side marker replacement features a sealed LED (not a bulb) for ultimate weatherproofing and longevity. The housing itself is also sealed to keep moisture out!

This sider marker has a footprint that is dimensionally the same as the original part and utilizes the same mounting holes in the body. It sits nearly flush with the body.

Reuse your original screws.
Do not use the resistor that is included. Tuck it away or tape off the shorter wire connection.
When stripping the original wire harness, ensure you cut far enough to expose clean, shiny copper. This guarantees a solid, reliable connection during crimping. Don't forget to heat shrink!
