My Vanagon has window chrome trim. Will this 'Felt Channel Strip without Chrome Trim' work for my top rear windows?

No, this specific felt channel strip is designed for Vanagon models *without* chrome trim around the windows. If your Vanagon has chrome trim, you will need a different seal. Please check our other listings for the correct seal compatible with chrome trim to ensure a proper fit and seal for your windows.

How many of these window channel strips do I need for my Vanagon, and where do they go?

You'll need two of these felt channel strips per Vanagon, as they are sold individually. They fit the top/rear channel where your cab windows roll up. This essential seal helps keep out weather and reduces wind noise.

What years and models of Vanagon does this top/rear felt channel strip fit?

This quality aftermarket felt channel strip is compatible with all Vanagon models manufactured between 1980 and 1991. This includes both 2WD and 4WD versions, as well as various trims like the Camper and Weekender models.

What's the best way to install this Vanagon window channel strip?

To make installation smoother, we recommend lightly spraying the channel and the strip itself with a mixture of soap and water. This provides lubrication, allowing the seal to slide into place more easily without damage. Ensure the area is clean before you start for the best results.
