Whether you are sliding across rocks or tearing up dirt roads, these heavy-duty 12-gauge steel skid plates will keep your frame in tip-top shape. We have run these in the NORRA Mexican 1000 to help protect gear stored underneath. If you have been looking for a way to protect your underbody, while also enclosing the free space for your gear storage needs, these plates are a great place to start. Install them permanently, or modify them to be removable for periodic access. The only limitation is your creativity and skill set. Basic installation is very straight forward. Line up the skid plate to the unibody frame rails, then use the provided self drilling screws to hold the plates in place. If you have a 2WD van you will need to slightly lower your gas tank for this installation.
