What is this vacuum hose used for in my Vanagon?

This black 3.5mm silicone vacuum hose is specifically designed for your 1986-1991 Vanagon Syncro model. It's commonly used for the Syncro decoupler system and in the differential locker switch/valve applications, ensuring reliable operation of these critical features.

How much hose do I need to order? Is it sold in a continuous length?

The Vacuum Hose for Decoupler/Difflock is sold by the foot, meaning you can order the exact amount you need. We offer it in a continuous length, so if you order, for example, 5 feet, you'll receive one 5-foot piece of hose, which is convenient for installations that require a single, unbroken section.

What makes this silicone vacuum hose a good choice for my Vanagon?

This is a high-quality aftermarket silicone vacuum hose with a 3.5mm diameter, built to withstand the demands of your Vanagon's systems. Silicone offers superior durability and flexibility compared to rubber hoses, making it a reliable choice for vacuum lines, especially in applications like the Syncro decoupler and differential locker.

Will this hose fit my specific Vanagon model and are there any other parts I might need?

This vacuum hose is designed to work with 1986-1991 Vanagon Syncro models. It's primarily for the decoupler and differential locker systems. While this hose is sold by the foot, you may need appropriate connectors or clamps depending on your specific repair or installation needs. Please check your existing setup or consult a manual if you're unsure.
