How many Rear Wheel Bearing Clips do I actually need for my Vanagon?

You will need two Rear Wheel Bearing Clips per vehicle to secure the inner rear wheel bearings on your 1980-1991 Vanagon. We sell them individually, so be sure to add two to your cart if you're replacing them.

When should I consider replacing the Rear Wheel Bearing Clip on my Vanagon?

While the Rear Wheel Bearing Clip is often reusable, it's best to replace it if it gets bent, stretched, or lost during the rear wheel bearing service. It's a small but critical part for keeping the bearing properly seated.

Will this Rear Wheel Bearing Clip fit my specific Vanagon model (2WD or 4WD)?

Yes, this Rear Wheel Bearing Clip (part number N-012-295-1) is designed to fit all 1980-1991 Vanagon models, including both 2WD and 4WD versions. It's a direct replacement for the original clip.

Is this an OEM part, or what is the quality of this Vanagon rear wheel bearing retainer clip?

This Rear Wheel Bearing Clip is a Quality Aftermarket part, specifically designed to meet the needs of Vanagon owners. It's a reliable option for ensuring your rear wheel bearing is held securely in place.
