Need a new radiator fan motor? Ditch the puny early-style motor for the powerful later version with this kit!

This Adaptor Bracket converts your smaller original 300/200-Watt radiator fan shroud to accept the more common, more powerful 450-Watt fan motor.

Important install tip: The 450-Watt fan motor uses a different wiring harness than the smaller 300/200-Watt system. This kit does not include instructions to upgrade your wiring harness for the 450-Watt fan motor. Refer to your Bentley manual for specific wiring requirements of the 450-Watt fan motor. Keep an eye out for our complete replacement 450-Watt Radiator Fan Wiring Harness, coming soon.

Fit Notes: All 1983-85 models, with or without AC had the smaller two-speed 300/200-Watt radiator fan motor. Starting in 1986 the Vanagon either had that same system or, on vehicles equipped with FACTORY AC (not dealer-added AC), had the larger 450-watt fan motor. Only use this kit if you have determined that your vehicle has the smaller 300/200W motor.
